What Is an Adult Advisor?

An Adult Advisor is a trusted volunteer who mentors and supports a local Donation Chapter.

Adult Advisors work alongside League Captains to help them develop leadership skills while ensuring activities are safe, organized, and successful.

Think of it as being a coach, mentor, and trusted guide—not the person running the team.

Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Be at least 21 years old.

  • Support the mission of The Locker League.

  • Be willing to mentor young leaders.

  • Complete the Adult Advisor application.

  • Complete any required training.

  • Successfully complete any required background screening.

  • Agree to follow Locker League policies and child protection standards.

Additional requirements may vary depending on local laws and organizational policies.

Who Can Become an Adult Advisor?

Adult Advisors come from many backgrounds.
