Locker League was founded by sisters Marion Nagim and Talia Nagim, who believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of sports.
What began as a conversation about outgrown cleats and unused sports equipment quickly became a bigger question:
What if every neighborhood had a place where families could easily donate sports equipment—and every child could take what they needed?
That question became Locker League.
Like many families, we watched closets, garages, and storage bins fill with sports equipment that no longer fit.
Cleats that had only been worn for one season.
Gloves that were still in great condition.
Tennis racquets waiting for their next match.
Basketballs, volleyballs, helmets, bats, and backpacks with plenty of life left in them.
At the same time, we knew there were children in our own community who wanted to play but didn’t have the equipment they needed.
There had to be a better way.
So we imagined something simple: A permanent outdoor locker where families could donate gently used sports equipment, and another family could take exactly what they needed—free of charge.
Not just once. Every day. In every community.

We started Locker League because we realized that something as simple as an outgrown pair of cleats could become someone else’s opportunity to play.
We believe kids can make a real difference when they’re trusted to lead. That’s why every Locker League chapter is led by students who want to help their communities.
Our hope is that one day every neighborhood will have a Community Locker where children can find the equipment they need, families can give back, and kindness becomes part of everyday life.
